As a student of the Il Do Dojang for as long as i can remember, one constant throughout years of change has always been grand master chang jin kang. Despite his age, oftentimes he was the most spirited one in the room. With a commanding presence and unmatched dedication, it is no wonder his story holds a myriad of hardships and inspirations. As a direct student of one of the main founders of taekwondo, a veteran, an immigrant, and a grandfather, GrandMaster Kang represents more than just the head of a dojang. The name "Il Do", meaning "one way", represents the culmination of his hard work, fighting spirit, and culture that leads the next generation of martial artists.
